Reading:   This week we will continue reading fiction.  We will be working on the comprehension skill of summarizing.  When we summarize we tell the characters, the problem, and the important events in the beginning, middle, and end of a story.

These are our high-frequency words.  We will be practicing them in class, and by the end of the week your child should be able to read them quickly and easily.
