Trip to the Wex

We have won the reading month challenge by reading the most number of minutes of all the second grade classrooms.  The reward for our hard work is a trip to the Wex in Cadillac for an afternoon of ice-skating and broomball.

*We will take this trip on Wednesday, April 1.  (Sorry this is such short notice, but the winners were not announced until last Friday afternoon.)

*There is no cost for this trip as the PTO is helping with cost.

*We will eat lunch at school and then leave at 11:45, arriving at the    Wex at about 12:15.  We will skate and play broomball until 2:15 and return to school by 2:45.

*It is cold inside the ice arena.  Make sure your child is dressed warmly (coat, snowpants, boots, hat, mittens).

*Parents are welcome to meet us at the Wex.  It is located on 13th St. in Cadillac.  We can use your help tying skates and helping us learn to skate.  If you would like to skate the cost is $2.    Please let me know if you can meet us, as we would greatly appreciate your help.
