Spelling:  We will have the same spelling list as last week since we did not have enough time to practice due to the snow days.  Your child’s list is attached to this letter.
Library:  We return to the library on Monday.  Please make sure all books are returned so that more may be checked out.
Valentine’s Day:  In the afternoon on February 14, we will be having a Valentine exchange in our classroom.  I am asking that each child bring in a Valentine for every member of our class.  The Valentines may be homemade or the purchased variety.  Since we are second graders, I want the students to address and sign the Valentines by themselves.  This can be a big job.  So, please have your child do a few each night.  These are the students in our class:

            Michael                     Kalvin                        Logan             Amorin                   Regan

            Jacob                         Layne                       Trenton           Adara                     Drew

Reminder:  If your child is collecting money for Jump Rope For Heart, please make sure the money is turned in by February 11.
Have a great weekend!
